We’re fresh, we’re modern and we’re the most progressive driving school in the UK. We’ve also been providing driving lessons for 26 years, so we know how to get you where you want to go.

As one of the UK’s leading independent driving schools we pride ourselves in offering a local service by local instructors.

We operate in many areas including Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Belfast, Bournemouth, Cardiff and London and the surrounding area.

Instructors

All our driving instructors use the Driving Standards Agency (DSA)/ DVA Syllabus to teach learner drivers. Driving lessons are delivered to the highest standards and to enable pupils to pass their driving test in the shortest possible time. Acclaim driving is still family run today, and our emphasis is always on high standards of customer service and to be the best driving school in the UK.

Environmental

Acclaim takes its responsibility towards the environment very seriously and that is why we put our eco principles at the very heart of everything we do.

We are therefore committed to having lower emission training vehicles and are currently investing in the energy-efficient Ford Fiesta 1.4TDCi, which has CO2 emissions of only 110g/km.

In addition to our training vehicles, Acclaim instructors understand the principles of eco-friendly driving and teach them as part of the normal curriculum. This ensures that pupils who learn to drive with acclaim will drive the eco-friendly way, reducing fuel/servicing and repair costs on their own vehicles once they have passed their driving test.

In our offices we operate a ‘switch-off policy’ meaning that lights and heating are turned off whenever they are not being used. In addition we operate an office share policy at our Leicester Head Office, ensuring that we don’t waste resource on extra heating or lighting.

Instructor Training

We have been training driving instructors for over 25 years. Our trainers are O.R.D.I.T Registered (Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers regulated by the Driving Standards Agency), and offer a high standard of driving instructor training with very high pass rates! CA Cars is also part of the acclaim group. CA Cars is our fleet management company, providing driving school cars to our own driving school and driving schools and driving instructors throughout the UK.
