The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has released advice on what to do if you have a Driving Test booked and you are concerned that you might have coronavirus.

If you have any of the following:

  • a cough
  • a high temperature
  • shortness of breath

There is a chance that you might have coronavirus and you should stay away from other people.

If you need to change or cancel a test due to Coronavirus, the DVSA will rebook your test free of charge, even at short notice (within 3 working days of the test).

You can't rearrange your test online if it is because of coronavirus so you will need to call 0330 200 1122 between 8 am and 4 pm Monday - Friday.

UPDATE

DVSA has announced that all driving tests are suspended for up to 3 months from 20th March 2020. There are arrangements to provide tests for critical workers.

There are separate arrangements in Northern Ireland

All the best
